Video chat is unfortunately not a feature included in pyDarts yet. But never mind ! Just open a recent browser and meet your opponents on any free chat website (like this channel or this other channel )
don't forget to use the same pyDarts version than your opponents, and that the server.
if you encounter an issue joining a game or playing over network, please have a quick check that everything is displayed as green on this page. It checks that the server is up.
Create or join a network game
Join a network game
- launch pydarts
- press F2 (join game)
- if a game is waiting for you, choose it in the list and press enter
- you may see the list of player. The game master will launch the game as soon as everybody will be here.
Create a network game
- launch pyDarts
- press F3 (create a game)
- choose your local players names
- on network options' page, just leave everything default and press enter
- choose your game and options
- people can join your game. when someone joined, the players will append to the list on your screen
- when everybody's here, press enter, and game starts.
How to find other players ?
Finding other players is a concern on pyDarts for now. The game is still confidential and people are satisfied by playing at home.
But anyway, there are thing that you can do to find remote players :
- register yourself with your email on this page, and an email will be sent to you as soon as a network game is created
- discuss on the official forum and meet other players.

First install python3-netifaces :)
You can run your own pyDarts server and Master server. To know more, type on a terminal :

and
